katie j meyers' Journal  here is an applique design i came up with for one of the next quilts i want to make. it probably won't be the the next quilt i make, but the one after that! as you can tell i went a little overboard with the black lines. i'm a perfectionist and then i just make things worse :) i have NEVER done an applique before, so i might be getting in over my head. i read about it in one of the books my grandmother gave me and i know this image is able to be appliqued because that book had much more difficult designs. i'm excited and nervous at the same time! |
